Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Review patient needs and conditions to deliver direct and appropriate nursing care within the assigned unit.
• Analyze patient information, including medical history, diagnostic results, and current condition, to develop individualized nursing care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as part of comprehensive and effective patient care delivery.
• Reconcile medical records to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Evaluate patient responses to interventions and identify additional interventions needed to meet defined goals of care.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure effective care planning and coordination.

Required Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
• Active Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a compact state; license must be in hand at time of submission.
• BLS (CPR) certification through American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• EPIC electronic health records experience required.
• Must pass an EKG exam during compliance (Pass/Fail; two attempts allowed).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations.
