Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services in PICU and NICU settings, including Level 3 and Level 4 NICU environments
• Perform intubations and surfactant administration as required by patient care needs
• Operate and manage specialized ventilator and respiratory equipment including Crossvent, Bunnell Jet, Drager VN500, Hamilton G5, Oscillator, Evolve Nitric Oxide, Airvo, and pneuton devices
• Participate in delivery room respiratory support and neonatal resuscitation as needed
• Float to Adult ICU, general floors, Level 2/3/4 NICU, PICU, and Pediatric units as assigned
• Adhere to strict time and attendance policies, clocked in and ready for report no later than 6:37 AM / 18:37 PM

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience; NICU and/or PICU experience required — Level 3 NICU or pediatric critical care experience strongly required (adult-only experience will not be considered)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
• Delivery room experience required
• Active BLS certification required
• Active ACLS certification required
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PALS certification preferred
• Adult respiratory therapy experience is a plus
• Fast learner with ability to adapt quickly in a high-acuity environment
