Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Contract | Rotating Day/Night Shifts (3x12-Hour Shifts) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit with potential to float to additional units serving the same patient population
• Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient outcomes
• Rotate shifts as needed to meet operational needs of the facility, including every other holiday

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in Medical Surgical/Telemetry specialty
• Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience (travel experience accepted)
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Active NIHSS certification required
• Must achieve acceptable scores on ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation (maximum two attempts)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18 months of permanent experience within a single facility location
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Med/Surg Telemetry setting
