Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 patient care in a multi-purpose operating room environment, including circulating and scrubbing roles
• Support a range of surgical procedures including angioplasty, appendectomy, biopsy, and orthopedic/spine cases
• Collaborate effectively with OR RNs, CSTs, anesthesia staff, and service line leads to ensure safe and efficient surgical care
• Operate and assist with standard OR equipment including Stryker video systems
• Participate in on-call rotation, including one evening on-call shift per week (5:00 PM – 7:00 PM) and weekend on-call approximately once every six weeks
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1–2 years of current hospital acute care experience in an operating room setting
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, high-acuity surgical environment
• Strong communication skills with staff, providers, and patients

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience both circulating and scrubbing in an OR setting
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
• Familiarity with hybrid cardiovascular OR, cystoscopy, or multipurpose OR environments
