Contract | Night Shift (3x12 Hours, 19:00–07:30) | 36 hours per week | Every other/third weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for adult and geriatric patient populations on a Progressive Care/Stepdown unit during night shift hours
• Manage common cases including burns, plastic/reconstructive surgery, urology, GYN, ENT, and oral/maxillofacial surgeries
• Perform special procedures including burn dressings, flap checks, and leech therapy
• Float within the hospital system as required
• Maintain compliance with credentialing requirements, including timely completion of the Ohio fingerprinting process

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license – valid compact or Ohio state license must be in hand at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of PCU/Stepdown experience (candidates with exactly 1 year of experience will require manager review and are not eligible for auto offers)
• Nursing education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• 2 professional references required; at least 1 must be from a manager, director, or formal leadership role (Charge RN acceptable for second reference; no coworker references accepted)
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with burn care, wound management, or post-surgical stepdown patient populations
• Prior travel nursing experience (first-time travelers are accepted)
• Familiarity with flap monitoring and specialty surgical recovery care
