Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Days, 5x8 Hours (8:00–17:00) | Some Saturdays Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient physical therapy evaluation and treatment services within scope of practice
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using Epic electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to meet individualized patient goals
- Participate in weekend coverage as scheduled, including some Saturdays
- Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
Required Qualifications
- Active Alaska Physical Therapist License (compact license must be in hand at time of submission; pending licenses accepted)
- BLS Certification required
- Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Must submit all requested time off and scheduling requests at time of submittal — post-offer RTO may not be considered
- 2 professional references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a Magnet-designated or Level II Trauma hospital environment
- Familiarity with outpatient orthopedic or general physical therapy caseloads
- Prior travel therapy experience
