Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Days, 5x8 Hours (8:00–17:00) | No Weekends | No Call Requirements | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services across outpatient, acute care, and long-term care / swing bed settings within a critical access hospital
• Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs across all covered service lines
• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans to support functional recovery and independence
• Document patient progress and clinical notes using Epic electronic health record system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care across settings

Required Qualifications

• Active Alaska Occupational Therapist license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Current NBCOT certification
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum of 1 year of occupational therapy experience
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a critical access hospital or rural healthcare setting
• Familiarity with outpatient, acute care, and long-term care / swing bed environments
• Experience with Epic electronic health record charting
