Contract | Days | 4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) | Rotating Call Required | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Perform apheresis procedures including Plasma Exchange, Red Blood Cell Exchange, and Photopheresis in a 1:1 patient care setting
- Operate specialized apheresis equipment, including the CellEx machine
- Provide nursing care for patients with conditions such as GVHD, Bronchiolitis Obliterans (BO), and Cutaneous T-Cell Lymphoma (CTCL)
- Manage central lines and ports in accordance with facility protocols
- Participate in rotating call schedule as required by the unit
- Float within the hospital or to affiliate facilities as required
Required Qualifications
- Active Indiana Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand prior to start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience
- Experience with apheresis equipment or dialysis
- Proficiency with central lines and ports
- Plasma Exchange and Red Blood Cell Exchange experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Photopheresis procedures
- Familiarity with CellEx or similar apheresis equipment
- Experience caring for patients with GVHD, BO, or CTCL diagnoses
