Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit within a short-term acute care facility
- Maintain AWHONN patient ratios throughout all shifts
- Float between units as needed based on census and staffing requirements
- Participate in on-call rotation for low-census situations
- Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
- Complete required modules prior to start and during orientation as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license required; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience required
- Proficiency with Epic EMR
- Must submit all RTO and scheduling requests upfront at time of submittal — post-offer RTO requests may not be granted
- 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at standard rates; locals within 50 miles may be considered at a lower rate
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a short-term acute care hospital setting
- Familiarity with AWHONN standards and patient ratio guidelines
- Demonstrated flexibility to float between sister facilities as needed
