Registered Nurse – Telemetry (Travel Contract)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Every other weekend required | No on-call required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 34-bed telemetry unit with a 5:1 patient ratio
• Perform cardiac rhythm interpretation and manage patients requiring continuous telemetry monitoring
• Manage respiratory needs including advanced airways and oxygen management
• Administer and monitor cardiac drips (non-titrated)
• Support procedures including stress tests, heart catheterizations, CABG, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and chest tubes
• Float as needed to Med Surg, Med Surg Telemetry, and ED holding areas

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS/CPR certification required
• Demonstrated cardiac rhythm interpretation skills
• Respiratory experience including advanced airways and oxygen management
• Minimum 1 year of telemetry or relevant RN experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS/ALS certification preferred
• Experience with GE Telemetry equipment, Pyxis, and Welch Allyn vital sign monitors
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR
• Strong team-oriented mindset and collaborative work style
