Interventional Radiology Technologist – Travel Contract

Contract | Travel | Days | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate for a full range of interventional radiology procedures including dialysis work (Permcaths, fistulagrams), nephrostomy tubes, arteriograms/embolizations, Y-90, G-tubes, TIPS, and Inari cases
• Scrub and circulate for neurointerventional procedures including cerebral arteriograms, coilings, pipelines, mechanical thrombectomies, and vertebroplasties
• Operate single-plane (GE) and biplane (Philips) imaging equipment, as well as an invasive CT scanner within the department
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio while collaborating with nursing staff assigned to each room
• Float to the Vascular OR (VOR) as needed
• Document accurately using the Cerner (Radnet) EMR system

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology
• Previous IR experience with ability to both scrub and circulate
• Previous neurointerventional radiology experience (scrub and circulate)
• Active BLS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Vascular OR (VOR) experience
• Cath Lab experience
• VI Registered (Vascular Interventional)
