Contract | Nights | 3x12 Hours (18:45–07:15) | Every Other Weekend Coverage

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on an orthopedic unit during night shift hours
• Administer and manage medications using the Omnicell medication system
• Document patient information and care using EPIC EMR
• Float to like units based on skill set and demonstrated competencies as needed to meet census demands
• Complete required pre-assignment modules and annual compliance requirements within designated timeframes

Required Qualifications

• Active Tennessee RN license or multistate compact license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in orthopedic nursing
• Minimum 1 year of recent EPIC EMR experience
• Must not be a first-time traveler
• Must live more than 100 miles from all system facilities to be eligible at full rate; candidates 90–99.9 miles away may be considered at a reduced rate; candidates under 90 miles are ineligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in both teaching and community hospital settings
• Familiarity with orthopedic patient populations and post-surgical care
