Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend (Saturday and Sunday) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to orthopedic and medical-surgical patients ranging from adults through geriatrics on a 29-bed unit
• Care for high-volume patient populations including total joint replacements, fracture repairs, and kyphoplasties
• Monitor and manage inpatient and 24-hour observation patients, including telemetry monitoring as applicable
• Serve as Charge RN on a rotating basis as needed
• Float to other campus locations as needed
• Collaborate with physical therapy staff utilizing the on-unit therapy gym to support patient rehabilitation

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Charge RN experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with telemetry monitoring
• Familiarity with orthopedic post-surgical patient care including total joint replacements and fracture repairs
