Registered Nurse – Ambulatory Care / Urology Outpatient

Contract | Days | 5x8 Hours | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with urology outpatient procedures including cystoscopies, vasectomies, and biopsies
• Perform catheter care and management in a fast-paced clinic environment
• Obtain and document patient vitals and conduct bladder scanner assessments
• Support a high-volume schedule with new patient procedures occurring approximately every 30 minutes
• Chart accurately and efficiently using Epic EMR
• Float to other units as requested based on facility needs

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in Virginia (in hand at time of submittal) or valid compact license with proof provided
• Urology outpatient experience required, with specialty experience within the last year
• Epic EMR experience required
• BLS certification required through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• One supervisory reference required at time of submittal
• Local candidates are accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS and/or PALS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Experience working in a high-volume outpatient or procedural clinic setting
• Familiarity with urology-specific equipment and clinical workflows
