Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM | Must be available for weekend and holiday call
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of nuclear medicine imaging procedures including MPI Stress Tests, Bone Scans, HIDA, Brain Deaths, Renal, Parathyroid, and Lung Perfusions
- Operate GE Discovery NM 630 and GE Case Machine imaging equipment
- Document and manage patient records using Meditech and Merge EMR systems
- Work independently on the day shift as part of a small, two-person nuclear medicine team
- Participate in on-call coverage after 4:00 PM, including weekends and holidays
- Maintain compliance with all department guidelines, safety protocols, and radiation safety standards; CNMT and/or ARRT (NM), BLS, and TMB required
Required Qualifications
- CNMT and/or ARRT (NM) certification required
- BLS certification required
- Texas Medical Board (TMB) licensure required
- Minimum 1 year of nuclear medicine technologist experience
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot equipment and procedural issues
- Must be available for weekend call and holiday call coverage
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous hospital-based nuclear medicine experience
- 2 or more years of nuclear medicine technologist experience
- Familiarity with Meditech and/or Merge EMR platforms
- Strong time management skills with a reliable, self-directed work style
