Contract | Day/Night Rotating, 12-Hour Shifts, Every Other Weekend, Every Other Holiday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide care for medically complex hematology/oncology patients requiring blood products, antibiotics, and symptom/side effect management
• Perform head-to-toe assessments, administer medications, and manage patient care plans
• Communicate and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and provide updates to patients and families
• Utilize unit equipment including EPIC, Philips Care Monitors, glucometers, bladder scanners, and language line
• If trained, administer chemotherapy as assigned
• Float to other med-surg units and locations within the Fargo area as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience in a large hospital setting (250+ beds)
• Experience in a busy Level 1 Trauma Center
• Active BLS certification – must be American Heart Association (AHA)
• Active North Dakota RN license or Compact RN license (or willingness to obtain)
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
• Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; candidates living between 60 and 80 miles may be subject to a local travel rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Inpatient oncology nursing experience
• Hematology and/or bone marrow transplant experience
