Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | 4 x 10-Hour Shifts | 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM | Rotating Schedule Including Weekends | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech language pathology services within an acute care and inpatient rehabilitation setting
- Perform Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) and Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS)
- Document patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress using EPIC EMR
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across acute and inpatient rehab units as needed, including float coverage
- Participate in weekend rotations as part of a heavy weekend rotation schedule
Required Qualifications
- Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
- State of Alaska fingerprinting and background check submitted through NABCS; must be in provisional or cleared status prior to assignment start
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR
- Ability to work a rotating schedule including weekends
Preferred Experience / Skills
- FEES and MBSS credentialing strongly preferred
- Experience in acute care and inpatient rehabilitation settings
- Familiarity with Meditech systems
- Team-oriented personality with strong collaborative communication skills
