Contract | Days, 4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM) | Expected 40 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) setting within a Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma acute care hospital
- Utilize Epic for clinical documentation and charting
- Participate in on-call rotations, including weekend on-call as required
- Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs, including potential float to nearby sister facilities
- Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
- Complete required modules prior to and during orientation as part of onboarding compliance
Required Qualifications
- Active Alaska RN License required; pending licensure may be considered, though a license in hand is strongly preferred
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of CVOR experience required
- Must submit all requested time off (RTO) at the time of submittal; post-offer RTO requests may not be accommodated
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Alaska RN license already in hand at time of submission
- Prior experience working in a Magnet-designated or high-acuity hospital environment
- Familiarity with Epic electronic health records system
- Flexibility with scheduling, including openness to a block schedule arrangement
