Contract | Days, 4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM) | Expected 40 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) setting within a Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma acute care hospital
• Utilize Epic for clinical documentation and charting
• Participate in on-call rotations, including weekend on-call as required
• Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs, including potential float to nearby sister facilities
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• Complete required modules prior to and during orientation as part of onboarding compliance

Required Qualifications

• Active Alaska RN License required; pending licensure may be considered, though a license in hand is strongly preferred
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of CVOR experience required
• Must submit all requested time off (RTO) at the time of submittal; post-offer RTO requests may not be accommodated
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Alaska RN license already in hand at time of submission
• Prior experience working in a Magnet-designated or high-acuity hospital environment
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health records system
• Flexibility with scheduling, including openness to a block schedule arrangement
