Travel Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical (Night Shift)

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Projected Start: September 14, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit during overnight shifts
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Monitor and document patient status, progress, and responses to care throughout the shift

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Tennessee or through Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical nursing
• Current BLS certification required
• Ability to work 12-hour overnight shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Strong critical thinking and time management skills in a fast-paced acute care environment
