Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Days | 5×8-hour shifts | Expected 40 hours/week (32 hours/week during holiday weeks)

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver physical therapy treatment and interventions to patients under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
  • Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Physical Therapist
  • Adhere to facility-specific protocols, dress code, and compliance requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license required; compact license accepted at start but permanent Texas license must be obtained promptly
  • Experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting
  • Must meet credentialing and contract QA requirements prior to assignment start
  • Candidates who have worked permanently or PRN at this facility within the last year are not eligible for this assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Prior travel therapy experience
  • Familiarity with outpatient orthopedic or sports rehabilitation settings
