Location
Austin, TX | Electrophysiology Lab
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM | No call requirements | No weekend requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scrub technician duties in an active electrophysiology lab environment supporting a team of nurses and lab staff
- Assist with EP and cath lab procedures including ablations, device implants, device extractions, and structural heart cases
- Operate and support electrophysiology mapping systems including Carto, Abbott, Boston Scientific, and Medtronic platforms
- Document patient care and procedural information accurately using the facility's EMR system (Meditech)
- Adapt to day-to-day changes in case load and workflow while maintaining strong collaboration with the lab team
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of scrub experience in a cath lab or electrophysiology lab setting
- Proficiency with EP lab equipment and associated procedural support
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary lab team
Preferred Experience / Skills
- More than 1 year of scrub experience in a cath lab or EP lab environment
- Familiarity with electrophysiology mapping systems such as Carto, Abbott, Boston Scientific, or Medtronic
- Experience with structural heart procedures and device extractions
- Flexible, team-oriented personality with the ability to adapt to changing daily priorities
