Travel CST – First Assist OR/Vascular

Key Responsibilities

• Perform first assist duties in the operating room with a focus on OR and vascular surgical procedures
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe and efficient patient care throughout all phases of surgery
• Maintain sterile field integrity and adhere to established surgical protocols and standards
• Assist surgeons during vascular and general OR cases, anticipating procedural needs and responding accordingly
• Document and communicate relevant patient and procedural information in accordance with facility policies

Required Qualifications

• Active CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification required
• First Assist certification or demonstrated first assist competency required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CST with first assist responsibilities
• Experience in OR and/or vascular surgical settings
• Ability to meet travel assignment requirements and begin on or around the projected start date

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel contract experience in a surgical technologist or first assist role
• Familiarity with vascular surgical procedures and instrumentation
• Strong adaptability and ability to integrate quickly into new surgical teams and environments
