Contract | Days | 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:30) | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a cardiovascular intensive care unit (CVICU) setting at a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Monitor and manage critically ill cardiovascular patients throughout the shift
• Maintain compliance with all required pre-assignment testing and facility modules, to be completed within 48 hours of receiving login credentials
• Float to other units and/or campuses as requested based on census needs, limited to areas where competencies have been demonstrated and documented
• Adhere to facility orientation requirements, including attendance at Monday orientation sessions and annual compliance requirements
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent CVICU experience required
• Minimum 1 year of recent EPIC EMR experience required
• Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required
• Must reside more than 100 miles from all system facilities to be eligible at full rate; travelers residing 90–99.9 miles away may be considered at a reduced rate; Adult ICU travelers must reside more than 100 miles from the relevant flagship hospital for full eligibility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Experience working in a high-acuity cardiovascular or critical care environment
