Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts | 19:00 Start | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays As Needed
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Telemetry unit setting
- Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry data and respond to changes in patient condition
- Float to like Med/Surg units as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a CCU setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 3 or more years of experience in a CCU setting
- Familiarity with floating to Med/Surg unit environments
- Strong cardiac monitoring and critical care assessment skills
