X-ray Technician / Radiology

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 8-hour shifts, 0700–1530 or 0800–1630 | Monday–Friday with every other weekend requirement | Holidays as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures in accordance with department protocols and physician orders
• Operate Carestream X-ray equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning throughout imaging procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and facility compliance requirements

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification required
• Active Illinois Radiology Technologist license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an X-ray Technician
• Hands-on experience with Carestream X-ray equipment
• New graduates are not eligible for this position

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a fast-paced acute care or hospital radiology setting
• Familiarity with a variety of imaging modalities and radiology workflows
