Key Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and reassessments per policy or as warranted by patient condition, demonstrating the ability to make sound independent clinical decisions
• Initiate, prioritize, and implement individualized plans of care; collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to revise plans as needed
• Monitor and document patient responses to clinical interventions
• Facilitate and evaluate patient and family education specific to care, treatment, and discharge needs
• Delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed personnel; serve as a mentor and preceptor while fostering teamwork and a culture of safety
• Participate in quality, safety, and service process improvement efforts and comply with regulatory standards within a Practice Governance framework

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN)
• Minimum of two (2) years of acute care RN experience
