Contract | 12-Hour Night Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting during overnight shifts
• Monitor and assess critically ill patients, responding promptly to changes in condition
• Float to all other inpatient units as needed
• Adhere to holiday scheduling requirements when not previously requested off
• Participate in a first-shift, non-billable orientation period prior to beginning regular assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
• New graduates are not eligible for this position

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3–5 years of ICU nursing experience
• Comfort with floating to a variety of inpatient clinical environments
