Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit with a 1:1 patient ratio
- Monitor and assess maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech electronic health records
- Adhere to facility dress code requirements (any solid color scrubs, no prints)
Required Qualifications
- Active and valid RN state license required at time of submission
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor & Delivery, nursery, or women's health
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN
- Copies of all certifications required at time of submission
- Professional references required
- All time-off requests must be submitted at time of candidate submission; preferably no full calendar week requests
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a Level III acute care hospital environment
- Familiarity with Meditech charting system
- Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced labor and delivery setting
