Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a dual PCU/Stepdown unit, with the ability to work on either the PCU side (ratios 2–3) or the floor side (ratios typically 4, up to 5)
- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and telemetry monitoring
- Manage and titrate cardiac drips as indicated by patient condition
- Provide care for patients requiring chest tube management
- Float within service line to meet facility needs as required
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license (MO or compact license required; pending MO license submissions considered)
- Minimum 2 years of relevant RN experience
- ACLS certification required (must be obtained by compliance deadline)
- BLS/BCLS certification required
- Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates accepted
- RTO requests must be finalized at time of submission; no more than 7 days of RTO per 13-week contract
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a PCU, Stepdown, or IMC setting
- Familiarity with cardiac drip titration and hemodynamic monitoring
- Experience with chest tube management
