Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Free Standing Emergency Department)

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Weekends Rotate | No Call Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an 11-bed Free Standing Emergency Department setting during night shift hours
• Perform IV starts and 12-lead EKG interpretation as part of routine patient assessment and care
• Operate and monitor ventilators and point-of-care lab machines as needed
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Collaborate with a small night shift team consisting of one CNC and one RN to deliver safe, efficient emergency care
• Rotate weekend shifts as part of standard scheduling requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year of emergency nursing experience
• Proficiency with IV insertion and 12-lead EKG performance and interpretation
• Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) including rotating weekends
• Experience with or ability to quickly learn Meditech EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Free Standing Emergency Department (FSED) environment
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in small, collaborative team settings
• Experience with ventilator management and point-of-care lab equipment
