Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Perform IV starts and manage ongoing IV therapy
- Provide wound care and use of drainage devices
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and implement appropriate nursing interventions
- Manage central lines and administer blood products
- Adhere to National Patient Safety Goals and unit-specific guidelines and policies
Required Qualifications
- Active LVN / LPN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required — candidates without this will not be considered
- Minimum 1 year of medical/surgical nursing experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Meditech electronic health records system
- Familiarity with renal patient care in an acute care setting
