Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit operating under a team nursing model, collaborating with PCCs, LPNs, and other support staff
• Manage a patient assignment within a team nursing structure with ratios supported by ancillary staff
• Participate in on-call coverage and weekend shifts as needed
• Float to like units or campuses within a 20-mile radius as operationally required
• Adhere to all facility compliance, credentialing, and holiday scheduling requirements, including willingness to work at least 1–2 holidays if they fall within the assignment period

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Tennessee or a compact RN license compliant with NLC guidelines — pending licenses are not accepted
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Medical Surgical nursing
• At least 1 prior completed travel assignment required — first-time travelers are not eligible for this position
• Level I or Level II Trauma experience required
• Valid driver's license required at time of submission
• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible — this radius rule is strictly enforced
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application; RTO will not be considered after an offer has been extended

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3 or more years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Large hospital or high-acuity facility background
• EPIC electronic health record experience
