Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Nights | 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department with a 101-bed unit and typical patient ratios of 4:1 (medical) and up to 7:1 for behavioral health holds
• Work collaboratively with techs, cardiac monitoring unit staff, triage personnel, and unit clerks across all sections of the ED
• Operate unit equipment including Baxter pumps and GE monitors; document accurately using Cerner
• Adhere to patient experience standards including AIDET, respectful behavior practices, and keeping patient boards updated throughout each visit
• Float to all sections within the ED as needed; no floating outside of the Emergency Department
• Demonstrate ability to coach and provide real-time feedback while maintaining a strong teamwork mentality

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in an Emergency Room setting
• ACLS required prior to start date
• BLS required prior to start date
• PALS required prior to start date
• TNCC required prior to start date
• CPI required prior to start date
• NIHSS required prior to start date
• ENPC required within 90 days of hire
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2 years of experience in a Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, or high-volume ED (100,000+ annual visits)
• Previous experience within HCA-affiliated facilities
• Flexibility and adaptability to work across all areas of a large, fast-paced Emergency Department
