Travel Registered Nurse – Telemetry (Night Shift)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 48 Hours Guaranteed per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 36-bed Telemetry unit with patient ratios of 1:3–1:4 (AM) and 1:4–1:5 (PM)
• Perform advanced assessment and critical thinking in the management of telemetry patients
• Manage vasoactive drips and monitor cardiac rhythms using unit cardiac monitoring systems
• Assist with or oversee central line and PICC line placement procedures
• Document patient care using the Meditech electronic documentation system
• Participate in bedside shift report, hourly rounding, and daily leadership rounds

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Missouri or compact state eligibility
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of Telemetry nursing experience
• Proficiency with telemetry equipment including BiPAP, Heated High-Flow Nasal Cannulas, Alaris IV pumps, and Kangaroo Feeding Pumps

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech documentation system
• Background in a Level 2 Trauma Center or stroke/STEMI-accredited facility
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with flexibility to float to MedSurg units as needed
