Job Title

• Registered Nurse, CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room)

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 3 shifts per week, Day shifts (12-hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care for patients undergoing cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgeries in the CVOR.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes during complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures.
• Assist with intraoperativeScrub and Circulating duties, including preparation, monitoring, and documentation.
• Maintain compliance with all safety and procedural protocols, including BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, supporting various units as required.

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri or Compact State.
• Minimum of 2 years of scrub experience in cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgeries.
• BLS and ACLS certifications obtained and current.
• Experience with CVOR cases including cardiac, thoracic, vascular, and transplant procedures.
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts, including call shifts, with rotating schedule as needed.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• BSN degree preferred.
• Experience working in a Level 1 Trauma Facility.
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system.
