Contract | Days, 4x10-Hour Shifts (7:00–17:30) | On-Call Required | Weekends (On-Call)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care to patients in the PACU at a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Participate in on-call coverage as required (up to 100 hours)
• Float to other units and/or sister facilities based on unit needs and individual skill sets
• Utilize Epic for clinical documentation and charting
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Maintain compliance with all PALS, ACLS, and BLS certification requirements throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of PACU experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Must have a personal vehicle for this assignment
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (locals accepted at a lower rate)
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic EMR
• Comfort and flexibility with floating to multiple units and care settings
• Prior travel nursing experience in an acute care environment
