Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and analyze data to determine diagnoses, expected outcomes, and individualized plans of care
- Implement and evaluate patient-centered plans of care, integrating research findings and evidence-based nursing practice
- Employ strategies to promote patient health, safety, and a therapeutic environment
- Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary health care team members in the delivery of nursing care
- Integrate ethical provisions across all areas of practice and maintain confidentiality at all times
- Comply with policies, procedures, and protocols related to hyperacute and acute stroke care, and participate in required annual cerebrovascular disease education
Required Qualifications
- Active Montana Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Provider certification
- STABLE certification
- Minimum of one year of nursing experience in NICU, Labor & Delivery, Emergency Department, or Intensive Care
- Ability to work varied and rotating shifts
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience specifically within a NICU setting
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in high-acuity, fast-paced environments
- Strong critical thinking, problem analysis, and clinical decision-making skills
- High emotional intelligence with strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities
