Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and analyze data to determine diagnoses, expected outcomes, and individualized plans of care
• Implement and evaluate patient-centered plans of care, integrating research findings and evidence-based nursing practice
• Employ strategies to promote patient health, safety, and a therapeutic environment
• Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary health care team members in the delivery of nursing care
• Integrate ethical provisions across all areas of practice and maintain confidentiality at all times
• Comply with policies, procedures, and protocols related to hyperacute and acute stroke care, and participate in required annual cerebrovascular disease education

Required Qualifications

• Active Montana Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• American Heart Association BLS certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Provider certification
• STABLE certification
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience in NICU, Labor & Delivery, Emergency Department, or Intensive Care
• Ability to work varied and rotating shifts

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience specifically within a NICU setting
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in high-acuity, fast-paced environments
• Strong critical thinking, problem analysis, and clinical decision-making skills
• High emotional intelligence with strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities
