Travel RN – Labor & Delivery

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 16-bed Labor & Delivery unit with patient ratios of 1:1 and 1:2
- Assist with and support vaginal deliveries, Cesarean sections, D&C, cerclage, and C-Hyst procedures
- Perform immediate newborn care and manage high-risk obstetric patients
- Operate Baxter Pumps and Phillips electronic fetal monitoring equipment; document in Cerner and Fetal Ink EMR
- Maintain required certifications including NRP, BLS/ALS, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring
- Float to MFMU, MOMB, and NICU as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in North Carolina (or compact eligibility)
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
- High-risk obstetric experience required
- Immediate newborn care experience required
- NRP certification required
- BLS/ALS certification required
- Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Circulating experience in the OR/surgical setting
- Outgoing, friendly, and adaptable personality well-suited to a fast-paced L&D environment
