Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a Behavioral Health Emergency Department setting
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions in a fast-paced emergency environment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Manage behavioral health patients presenting in crisis, ensuring safety and therapeutic intervention
• Adhere to facility protocols, policies, and Joint Commission standards throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (must be valid in North Carolina or through Nurse Licensure Compact)
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• Experience working with behavioral health patients in an acute or emergency care setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Familiarity with behavioral health hold protocols and psychiatric emergency care
• Strong de-escalation and crisis intervention skills
