Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a cardiovascular operating room setting with a 1:1 patient ratio
- Assist with and support procedures including CABG, Valve Replacement, Carotid Endarterectomy, ECMO, Angiogram, Fistulagram, Fistula Creation, and Lower Extremity Bypass
- Collaborate within a skill-mixed team of RNs and Surgical Technologists in a fast-paced OR environment
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
- Participate in on-call coverage, averaging 4–5 days per month and 1 weekend per month
- Float to the Main OR as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a cardiovascular or vascular operating room setting
- Open heart and vascular surgery experience required — candidates without this experience will not be considered
- Operating room experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with open heart and/or vascular surgical procedures
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR
- Ability to thrive in a high-acuity, fast-paced OR environment
