Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Midshift (3:00 PM – 3:00 AM) | Onsite | Alternate weekends required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 30-bed Emergency Department with patient ratios up to 1:5, acuity dependent
• Utilize advanced monitors, defibrillators, ultrasound, and EKG machines to assess and treat emergency patients
• Manage and respond to high-acuity cases including trauma, STEMI, stroke, and sepsis protocols
• Perform and assist with procedures including thoracotomy, arterial lines, and massive transfusion protocol (MTP)
• Document patient care using Meditech EMR (transitioning to Meditech Expanse)
• Float to freestanding Emergency Department locations as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience
• Advanced critical thinking skills with extensive experience in trauma, STEMI, stroke, and sepsis
• Required certifications: ENPC, TNCC, ACLS, PALS, BLS, and CPI with Trauma-Informed Care (TIC)
• Ability to work alternate weekends and adhere to dress code (royal blue scrubs)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with both adult and pediatric Emergency Department patient populations
• NRP and STABLE certifications
• Certifications aligned with HCA Nurse Contract and Pool requirements
