Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend | Holidays As Needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a cardiovascular med/surg unit in a telemetry capacity
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data for cardiovascular patients
• Float to any unit within the facility in an RN capacity, assuming a full patient ratio as needed
• Adhere to weekend rotation requirements (every other weekend) and holiday coverage as needed
• Pass facility EKG test at 80% or higher prior to submission/start

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license
• BLS certification required
• Must pass EKG test at 80% or higher to be considered
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• At least 1 prior travel contract required
• New graduates are not eligible for this position

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a cardiovascular or cardiac care setting
• Familiarity with cardiovascular med/surg patient populations
• Comfort with floating to various units and managing full patient ratios
