Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts, Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM | On-call expected approximately 10 days/month, including one weekend/month | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Perform circulator duties in a cardiovascular operating room environment serving adult and geriatric patient populations
• Support a broad range of cardiac and thoracic procedures including CABG, valve repairs/replacements, TAVR, VATS, Thoracotomy, Aortic Aneurysm Repair, Robotic Thoracic Surgery, and more
• Utilize electronic health record systems including EPIC and PYXIS for documentation and medication management
• Communicate effectively using SBAR methodology and collaborate within a multi-room OR setting
• Participate in on-call rotation as required by unit needs
• Adhere to all pre-approved time-off policies; no additional time-off requests permitted after contract signing

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina or a Compact state (pending licensure considered for submission)
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
• Circulator experience required
• Must be open to floating within or near the facility per assignment requirements
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible; a lower compensation rate applies for local candidates

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CNOR certification preferred
• Scrub experience preferred
• Familiarity with complex cardiac cases such as Redo Surgeries, IABP insertion/removal, Mitral Clip, and Myxoma Removal
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
