Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct postpartum nursing care to mothers and newborns in an acute care setting
- Monitor and assess the physical and emotional well-being of postpartum patients and their infants
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Educate new mothers on newborn care, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of two (2) years of acute care RN experience
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN)
- BLS certification required
- NRP-Advanced certification required
- STABLE certification required
