Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Friday, Saturday, Sunday with occasional scheduled holidays | 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Perform decontamination of all items including drills, robotic surgical instruments, and scopes
• Assemble instruments across all service lines including trauma, loaners, and peel packaging
• Execute sterilization processes using Sterrad and steam sterilization methods
• Perform High-Level Disinfection (HLD) and scope reprocessing
• Manage sterile storage and serve as OR Liaison as needed
• Utilize instrument tracking and reprocessing systems including Censitrac and Medivator

Required Qualifications

• CBSPD or CRCST certification (through HSPA, formerly IAHCSMM) required
• Experience in all areas of a sterile processing department, including decontamination, assembly, sterilization, HLD, and sterile storage
• Prior experience in a high-volume, Level One trauma facility or comparable setting strongly required
• Medivator experience required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Censitrac instrument tracking system
• OR Liaison experience in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Familiarity with robotic surgical instrument reprocessing (e.g., Da Vinci)
• Experience with loaner instrument management and complex tray assembly
