Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours/Week | Onsite | Includes weekend and holiday coverage

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care and monitoring for patients recovering from surgical and procedural interventions
• Assess and manage patient pain, airway, hemodynamic status, and neurological recovery in the PACU setting
• Collaborate with anesthesia providers, surgeons, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe patient transitions
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately and in a timely manner
• Participate in weekend and holiday shift coverage as required

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license — valid compact or Ohio state license required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of PACU or relevant clinical experience
• Nursing education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Must be willing and able to complete Ohio fingerprinting requirements promptly upon contract signing
• 2 professional references required; at least 1 must be from a manager, director, or formal leadership role (charge RN acceptable as second reference; no coworker references)
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply
• Experience with night shift in a high-acuity or surgical setting
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills in fast-paced post-operative environments
