Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit during night shift hours
• Utilize the Omnicell medication management system for safe medication administration
• Document patient care accurately using the EPIC electronic medical records system
• Float to like units based on skill set and demonstrated competencies as census needs require
• Provide weekend coverage on an every-other-weekend basis, subject to change based on unit need
• Complete all required pre-assignment modules and annual compliance requirements within designated timeframes

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Tennessee or a valid multistate/compact RN license
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Medical Surgical/Telemetry specialty
• Minimum 1 year of experience with EPIC EMR
• Must not be a first-time traveler
• Must live more than 50 miles from the contracted facility to be eligible; candidates between 50–99.9 miles may be considered at a reduced rate; candidates under 50 miles are ineligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in both teaching and community hospital settings
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and progressive care workflows
• Prior travel nursing experience with demonstrated adaptability to new environments
