Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct postpartum nursing care to mothers and newborns in a Mother/Baby unit
- Monitor and assess maternal and neonatal health status throughout the postpartum period
- Educate patients and families on newborn care, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in accordance with facility protocols
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Mother/Baby or Postpartum nursing
- Current BLS certification required
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in a Mother/Baby or Postpartum setting
- Familiarity with Labor & Delivery workflows and cross-training capabilities
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems in an acute care environment
