Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 4x12 / 48-hour option may also be available | On-call and weekend rotation as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit in a large acute care hospital setting
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including telemetry, and communicate changes to the care team
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Float to like units or campuses within a 20-mile radius as operationally needed
• Participate in holiday coverage rotation; candidates whose assignment spans end-of-year holidays may be expected to work a portion of applicable holidays

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Tennessee or a compact RN license compliant with NLC guidelines — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Surgical / Telemetry experience (strictly enforced); candidates without prior travel experience must have a minimum of 3 years of recent experience
• At least one prior completed travel assignment required
• BLS certification required; any certifications expiring during the assignment must have a documented renewal plan
• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible — this requirement is strictly enforced
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application; RTO submitted after an offer is made will not be forwarded for approval

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3 or more years of recent Medical Surgical / Telemetry experience
• Experience working in a large hospital environment
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
• BSN degree (required only for select unit types; ADN accepted for this position)
