Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit maintaining a 1:1 patient ratio
- Monitor and assess maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe and effective outcomes for mothers and newborns
- Document all patient care activities accurately using Meditech electronic health records
- Adhere to facility dress code requirements (any solid color scrubs, no prints)
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) state license required at time of submission
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor & Delivery, nursery, or women's health
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN
- All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of application/submission; preferably no full calendar week requests
- References required; copies of certifications required
- Must have been away from this facility for a minimum of 1 year to be eligible as a returning staff member
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a Level III trauma/acute care hospital environment
- Familiarity with Meditech charting system
- Background in nursery or broader women's health settings
